How we publish

Editorial policy

Relvato publishes guides, security advisories and press releases at relvato.com. This page explains who writes them, how we check them, and how we correct mistakes.

Who we are

The site is published by Relvato SRL, Bucharest, Romania. Bogdan Ionita, the founder, is the editor and is responsible for everything published here. Write to contact@relvato.com.

How articles are written

Articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI and are reviewed, fact-checked and approved by Bogdan Ionita before they go live. Each article names its author and shows when it was published and last updated.

Sources

  • Security advisories rely only on the vendor's own advisory (for example php.net or nodejs.org) and public vulnerability databases (CVE, NVD, OSV). We give the affected and fixed versions exactly as the vendor states them.
  • We recommend only the vendor's official fixes and interim settings, never unvetted third-party scripts.
  • Articles about laws cite the official text or the regulator's own guidance.

Our own data

We never publish numbers or details from customers' sites or monitoring results.

Comparisons

Relvato makes a website monitoring platform, so in guides that compare it with other products or approaches we are an interested party. We describe other products from their own public pages, as of the date shown, and correct them when they change.

Press releases

Press releases are written by Relvato about Relvato and are labelled as press releases.

Independence

No article is paid for or sponsored by a third party, and we don't use affiliate links.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, email contact@relvato.com with the page address. We fix factual errors promptly. When a correction changes the substance of an article, we add a dated "Correction" note saying what changed. Smaller updates, such as a new fixed version in an advisory, show as a new "Updated" date.
